The South Bay Children’s Choir, an ensemble of 120 singers ranging in age from 6-17, will be performing a reunion concert titled “Echoes and Encores” in the Marsee Auditorium, according to the choir’s website.
The upcoming reunion concert will be a celebration of the choir’s 20-year anniversary after it was founded in 1996 by EC music professor and choir’s artistic director Diane Simons, and by the late Jane Hardester, according to the choir’s website.
The choir has seen many alumni go on to continue working in the entertainment industry, one of the most notable being actress Rachel Bloom, star of the hit CW TV series, “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend,” artistic director Diane Simons said in an email.
“Echoes and Encores” will be performed on Sunday, March 20 at 4 p.m., with tickets going for $15, according to El Camino’s Center for the Arts website.
