The El Camino College Art Gallery opened its new exhibit “Body of Water: A Multi-Faceted Look at H2O from Drought to Deluge.”
The Art Gallery will hold a reception for “Body of Water” Sept. 3 at 7 p.m. and an artist’s lecture on Sept. 8 at 1 p.m. “Body of Water” will be open until Sept. 17.
According to a press release, “Body of Water” features an array of different variations of water: acid rain, divine essence, turbulent melting icebergs and rhythmic patterns of light on water and deep still pools.
A total of 24 artists, all ranging from drawers, printmakers, photographers, sculptors, poets and videographers, are featured in the exhibit.
The Art Gallery is open Mondays and Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Wednesdays and Thursdays from noon to 8 p.m.
