The Marsee Auditorium will be hosting the “Duo Piano Recital” on Saturday, April 23 at 8 p.m., according to the El Camino Center for the Fine Arts website.
The Recital will be a collaboration between EC faculty members Patrick Schulz (composer), with a premiere of a solo piece, Polli Chambers- Salazar, director of piano studies, and guest performer, Christopher Brennan, a music lecturer from Chapman University, according to the Fine Arts website.
“We are playing a piece called ‘The Moldau’ by the composer (Bedrich) Smetana, ‘Suite No. 1’ by (Sergei) Rachmaninoff, and ‘The Planets,’ by (Gustav) Holst,” Chambers said.
Dr. Schulz will also be debuting his solo piece entitled “Through the Eyes of a Khao Manee,” Chambers added.
Tickets for the recital cost $10 for students and $15 for non-students, and can be purchased at the Center for the Arts website, or by calling (310) 329-5345.
