“Beautiful Planet: In Celebration of Nature,” an exhibit presented by the EC Art Gallery, will be on display in the gallery from Jan. 20 to Feb. 12, according to a press release.

“This exhibit illustrates the great importance of simply stopping, observing, and reveling in the extreme beauty found in nature, despite the current problems of global warming, biological species extinction, drought and more,” according to the press release.

In the exhibit, 19 artists show their views of the world with drawings, paintings, photography, digital media and poetry.

The Art Gallery is located in the Behavioral and Social Sciences Building and is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays and Tuesdays and from noon to 8 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays.
