Campus Dialogue about safety measures with Torrance PD

El Camino Police officers Erica Solorzano and Darrell Miller answer questions written on flip charts by participants at a campus dialogue on Thursday, May 19, 2022 in the east dining room above the student store. Solorzano, who has worked as an officer at ECC for 14 years and served with Signal Hill and Long Beach Police Departments before coming to El Camino, also informed the audience what they can expect during a police stop and how to respond to officer instructions from a law enforcement perspective. There wasn’t a speaker to offer a civil rights or legal defense perspective. (Kim McGill | The Union)
