Explore vast oceans and exotic islands with the Discovery World Travel Adventure Series film, “Hawaii and the South Pacific,” on Monday, Sept. 26 in the Marsee Auditorium at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Presented by El Camino College’s Center for the Arts, this informative travel film will feature commentary by renowned world traveler and filmmaker Marlin Darrah, according to the Discovery Series flier.
The two-hour professional documentary offers viewers an insight into the journey of filmmaking in the tropical terrains of the Hawaiian and French Polynesian islands.
There will be an intermission during which light refreshments will be offered and socializing is encouraged. Following the show, guests will have an opportunity to talk with the filmmaker.
The 13-part series is for “anyone who enjoys traveling, learning about new cultures, and viewing exciting lands,” according to the Discovery Film Series homepage.
A single ticket for general admission is $9, and costs only $8 for students and seniors. For visitors without a parking permit, a $3 parking pass is required.
