The 2016 spring semester has welcomed a fresh batch of editors for El Camino’s creative arts journal, Myriad, all of whom are looking to bring home another award to the publication in their time as editors.
The Myriad editors took the time to sit down with “The Union” for individual Q&As to give readers a grasp of what’s inside their minds.
Our next featured editor for Myriad is 21-year-old English major Megan Guerra.
Q: What do you do in the Myriad class?
A: I kind of do everything. I’m writing a book right now. I’m into art, poetry, sometimes like sad things.
Q: What is your kind of book to read?
A: I like to read young adult books- like fiction. It’s in its own section about contemporary literature and that’s what I like to write about in my books.
Q: What is your saddest moment?
A: Being an only child really helps me being creative and reading since I was a kid.
EDITOR’S NOTE MAY 11, 2016 8:21 a.m.: Guerra’s name fixed from Gurra, Myriad fixed from The Myriad.
