Ryan Decker, Staff Writer
Ryan is starting his first semester on the paper. This is his first year as a journalism major after spending the first three years of his collegiate career as a psychology major. He attended Westmont College prior to transferring to El Camino. He is primarily a sports journalist who specializes in basketball and football. His passion for and knowledge of sports are unique. Ryan is planning to transfer to a university after this semester and pursue a career in sports journalism. His current job as an instructor at J. Lee Taekwondo helps him better some of the skills that would be useful in this field. Ryan is hoping to use his experience on The Union to better him as both a journalist and a person.
