Following a loss to Long Beach City College at the start of the season, the college’s men’s water polo team split the Santa Monica College Tournament with a loss to San Diego Mesa and a close win over Santa Monica on Friday. SD Mesa beat the Warriors 5-18 and the college held onto a win over the tournament host, Santa Monica College with a score of 12-10.
The women’s team has lost all of its tournaments so far this season opening with the men in Long Beach and losing to both L.A. Valley and Santa Monica at the home tournament.
The men will have another tournament near the end of the month at San Diego Mesa College.
