Student Health Services at El Camino has decided to extend their free flu shot clinic for all ECC students through the week of Oct. 5 – Oct. 9.

According to an email sent by ECC Student Information, Student Health Services made the decision to extend the flu shot clinic due to popular demand from its initial opening last week.

The continuation of the drive-thru clinic allows more ECC students to receive their shots for the upcoming flu season.

Students are able to get their free flu shot at the same location near Marsee Auditorium as a walk in or drive-thru patient from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The email provides an infographic from the University of California (UC) informing students about the dangers of the flu, how easily it can transmit, and how important it is to get vaccinated during the COVID-19 pandemic.

For more information about the flu, an article from the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) that was provided in the email is available here.
