Free hot water for foods, including oatmeal, is now available for eligible students at the Warrior Food Pantry in Room 116 of the Physics Building.

Along with the hot water, students who fill out a Warrior Pantry Registration Form receive access to various racks of items where they can choose up to one or two food items of their choice. Students can also take up to two small toiletry items.

“Every semester we want to continue to expand our offerings,” Warrior Pantry and Student Development Assistant Christopher Wade said. “You have to have that right type of passion for people to want to help and serve students and once they feel that passion coming from you, you’re doing more than your job.”

To access the Warrior Pantry, students must be enrolled in at least one semester unit and provide an ECC student ID with an Associated Students Organization sticker for the spring semester.

The Warrior Food Pantry is open Monday through Thursday with new hours for spring:

  • Monday and Tuesday: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
  • Wednesday: 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Thursday: 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
