How to transfer to CSULB workshops will be offered
Representatives from CSU Long Beach and a workshop will be available today in the Student Services Center. Representatives will be here from 9:20 a.m. to 11:40 a.m. and the workshop will be from noon to 1 p.m. in Student Services Center Room 106. 11th Annual Powwow to take place this weekend
The Native American Clubs will host its 11th Annual Powwow on the track field from noon to 7 p.m. on Saturday and from noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday. The event will feature Native American singers, dancers and drummers. Food, jewelry and crafts will be sold.

Moon, planet and star viewing to take place
As part of the 100 Hours of Astronomy, which celebrates 2009 as the International Year of Astronomy, telescopes will be set out on Lot J or K on Saturday from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in which persons may view planets, the moon and stars. “Dominguez Fest” and tour will be offered
A CSU Dominguez Hills tour will be available on Saturday, April 18. Students will depart from campus at 8:30 a.m. and will return at 3:30 p.m. A $5 refundable deposit is required upon signing up. Spring Evening Fair to be on Library Lawn
The Spring Evening Fair will take place on Tuesday, April 21 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the Library Lawn. Students will be able to meet with university representatives and learn about admissions requirements, majors, financial aid, housing and more. Stomp Transfer Conference at UCLA to be available
A UCLA tour and the chance to attend the 10th Annual Stomp Transfer Conference will be offered on Friday, April 24. Students will depart at 7 a.m. from the Industry and Technology Shops on campus and return at 5 p.m. A $5 refundable deposit will be required upon signing up.
