Prescription Marijuanna
Feb. 25, 11:45 a.m.- Officers conducted a traffic stop on the intersection of Manhattan Beach Boulevard and Doty, where they stopped a vehicle.
An officer questioned the subject about whether or not he had anything illegal in his possession. The subject responded, “prescription.”
After being cited for posession of less than an ounce of marijuanna, the subject was released.

Unlicensed driver cited for drug paraphernalia
Feb. 25, 5:40 p.m.- An officer pulled over a vehicle on the intersection of Redondo Beach Boulevard and Crenshaw Boulevard for a vehicle violation.
The driver had no license plate on his vehicle.
A strong odor of marijuanna emanated from the subject’s vehicle. The officer questioned the subject as to whether or not anything illegal was in his possession.
The subject responded to the officer by stepping out of his vehicle and saying, “no.” The officer found the subject was also unlicensed.
The subject was given a citation for a vehicle violation, being an unlicensed driver and for posession of marijuanna.

Student vehicle damaged; property missing
Feb. 25, 5:30 p.m.- Officers responded to a complaint from a student who parked his car in parking Lot L.
The student parked his car at 2:30 p.m, and returned at 3:19 p.m, where he discovered the left car door had been damaged and his car stereo was missing.
Miscellaneous credit cards located in his wallet were also displaced.
Officers were able to obtain fingerprints, which were then sent off to the crime lab for further analysis.

Student refuses medical help after stomach pain
Feb. 25, 8:00 p.m- A male student with numerous health conditions, sat at his desk in class, when he began experiencing stomach pain.
The student said he was feeling sick to his stomach and started to vomit.
The student refused medical attention and called for an outside party to pick him up.

Student with asthma given medical attention
Feb. 26, 12:45 p.m-Officers responded to the Health Center regarding a female student who suffers from asthma.
Paramedics were called. The student was then transported to the hospital.

Student vehicle stolen from parking Lot L
Feb. 26, 12:00 p.m-A male student stated that he parked his vehicle in parking Lot L and went on off to his 12:19 p.m class.
Upon returning to his vehicle at 3:55 p.m, he discovered his vehicle was missing. The make and model of the vehicle was a ’91 Nissan 240.
Police have yet to locate the whereabouts of the vehicle.

Police Offer Shuttle, Escort Service
EC police operate a shuttle service for students and faculty who would like safe passage to their vehicles in the evening.
