Tiffany “Thao” Hoang, who is deaf, has been a valuables teammate on El Camino College Warriors badminton team since she joined last year.
Hoang, the coaches, and the team work together to find ways to communicate with each other, from texting and body language to a scoreboard system.
Through her journey with the team, Hoang has gained self esteem and confidence in herself.
