The Slam Poetry Committee is accepting submissions for their third annual competition until Friday, April 3. For those competing, there will be cash prizes for the winners including: $150 for first place, $75 for second place and $50 for third place. The competition is set to take place on Thursday, April 23 from 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m.
Specifically, they’re looking for written original work that is a maximum of three minutes long and uses no extra props or media. To submit your poetry, send it to either Rhea Lewitzki at [email protected] or Chris Page at [email protected]. Selected competitors will be notified by Friday, April 17.
