The Marsee Auditorium will be hosting a performance by the El Camino Concert Choir, Chorale, Mixed Chorus and Symphony Orchestra, “German Requiem” by Johannes Brahms.
The Concert Choir and Mixed Chorus will have 125 singers with the combination of 66 instrumentals in the El Camino Orchestra, according to the Brahms-Requiem Press Release.
Erin Wood, an El Camino voice faculty member and Anthony Moreno, and El Camino alumni who is completing his doctorate at USC, will be two of the many singers performing that night, according to the press release.
Joanna Medawar Nachef, Director of Choral Activities, will be conducting the chorus, orchestra, soprano, and baritone soloists.
“Dr. Dane Teter and I made this decision almost two years ago,” Nachef said. “The rehearsals for this performance has been practiced all this semester.”
The performance will be held in the Marsee Auditorium on Saturday, May 7 at 8 p.m. with tickets pricing at $10.
