The Photography Department of EC announced last week that two of its students are finalists in the Photographer’s Forum: Best of College Photography 2015 International Competition.
Advanced Photography students Jamee Palmer and Tony Pham are two of the select few finalists in the Photography Forum’s event. They only select the top 5 percent out of the many submissions said photography professor, Darilyn Rowan.
Palmer and Pham will also have the opportunity to have their well-received photographs published in the Photography Forum’s 2015 edition of “Best of College and High School Photography” — an annual book that showcases honorable mentions, finalists and winners of the year’s contests — which comes out July.
According to Rowan, this isn’t the first time EC students have been featured in the publication’s annual book.
The Best of College Photography 2015 International Competition is described by Rowan as a competition that allows students from two and four year colleges all over the world to submit their best work.
Submissions in the competition consist of color and black-and-white photographs in both film and digital format.
Photographer’s Forum is an award-winning magazine that dedicates its content to photography in the United States and Canada, according to its official website.
