Rayan Bacalloni, 18, international relations major: “People are more interested in their social media. Instead of doing things I’m supposed to be doing, like studying or my homework, I’ll be on Snapchat or Instagram.”
Jason Ball, 19, business major: “Technology has its benefits, but we rely on it too much. It’s easy to be able to get information and things fast, but you can’t always rely on it being that easy.”
Brett Ball, 19, business major: ” I mean it’s cool to be able to text somebody or look something up when you need it, but our generation depends on technology way too much. It’s not healthy.”
Francisco Isaac, 20, radiology major: “Some people can use the technology we have and abuse it, or others can use it for their own good and not let it affect their lives.”
Domonique Reynolds, 20, athletic training major: “Our generation feels like they don’t have to do much. Just because you’re able to use technology to look up information fast doesn’t mean you’re going to remember it.”
Jonathan Hardesty, 20, undeclared major: “I don’t think technology has caused our generation to feel entitled, but there are some people who feel they deserve more than others.”
