When and where do meetings take place?
The meetings are every second and fourth Thursday of the month, from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Activities Building, West Lounge.
How many members are in the club?
To have a full senate, we have 25 positions. However, we are thinking of making more positions this year depending on the demand.
What is the purpose of the club?
The purpose of our organization is to represent the students of the campus, and if you”d like to know more take a look at our mission statement.
What is your job as president?
My job as president is to delegate the duties of the association to the rest of the members as well as to represent the student body by attending separate meetings. If you”d like to know more, please refer to the ASO Constitution and bylaws.
How can students get involved?
Students can get involved by several means. What events do you have coming up?
Some events we have coming up include Club Rush where ASO will set up a table to further inform more students about our association.
What happens during meetings?
We discuss issues pertaining to the students and we make and pass motions that we feel will further benefit the students as a whole.
How long has the club been on campus?
The club has been on campus for a long time. Take a look at the organization”s history by taking a look at the Constitution.
What is your goal as president?
To better serve the student, be more visible and make students more aware of what is going on in ASO.
Why should students be involved in ASO?
We want to know what the students want from us and we want the students to have expectations of us.
