There is such a thing as a sex addiction and it is alive and well. It may not cross your mind that often or jump out at you, but this sickness is everywhere.
There are numerous terms for this specific addiction, such as “sexual dependency,” “sexual compulsiveness,” or “hyper sexuality.” Sounds more like a scientific excuse for someone who just really likes sex, right?

Tiger Woods admitted to attending a 45-day rehabilitation program, and yet he never said he was a sex addict.
Is it because of the stigma in society that he was ashamed to admit it, or was it just an excuse?
Sex addictions are not something to be taken lightly. While jokes may be made, the fact of the matter is that it’s something people suffer from and they need help, not ridicule.
