How long have you been thinking about becoming ICC president?
It was in the back of my mind and then I saw the opportunity when I got nominated. I was looking forward to a lot of things happening for ICC.

What responsibilities will you be taking over as the new president?
We are here for the clubs and here by the clubs, so basically if there weren’t any clubs, we wouldn’t exist. My role is to be a chairperson, to regulate and make sure everything is all right.

What skills and background have you had that help you out with your position?
Last year I was ICC secretary and I was very detailed with the notes and that helped me. I did ASO for one year. All my leadership skills were built in high school helping out with clubs.

What is one thing that made you want to take on this role?
I had a lot of potential to be in ICC and a lot of people do not know about it. The more we get people familiar with the other clubs and have things that they are interested in, it will be a really great experience for them. That is what motivated me to do this.

What do you hope to accomplish as ICC president?
I would just want to be more involved with all the events and have more interest in them also.

Is there anything you are looking to do differently from other ICC presidents in the past?
All the past ICC presidents have a done a great job to this point, but the one thing that I want to do a little bit differently is to get more of the school involved and not just the clubs.

What are some of the perks of being ICC president?
I get to meet a lot of cool people all the time. I receive a lot of phone calls from the Union, but those are pretty much all the perks.

What do you enjoy most about being ICC president?
I like that even though I don’t have much to say a lot of people like to listen to what I have to say. It’s not like an authority type of thing, but a lot of my visions come true because people listen to me and work toward my vision to get the work done.
