An El Camino faculty member reported that he saw a camera flash while using the men’s restroom on the third floor of the Humanities Building on Wednesday around 4:15 p.m., El Camino’s police chief said.
After seeing the flash, the faculty member called out to the suspected peeping tom who ran away, according to the campus advisory sent to all faculty and students.
There is no more information on this incident, ECPD police chief Michael Trevis said in an email, but if anyone has any information they should contact Campus Police at 310-660-3100.
This is the second reported “peeping tom” incident this month, but the first to happen in a men’s restroom on campus.
The first of these incidents happened when a female student reported that a man with a pen camera attached to his show was taking pictures in one of the Schauerman Library restrooms. That suspect was arrested that day by El Camino police.
