Electric shortage closes Art and Behavioral Science Building
An electrical shortage in the basement of the Art and Behavioral Science Building sent smoke and an electrical smell through the building Thursday morning, according to an email from Police Chief Michael Trevis.
The entire building was closed just before 8 a.m. and caused classes to be temporarily canceled. Meanwhile, students and faculty were left waiting outside the building.
“I know that facilities is trying to get the electrical smoke and smell out of the building before it can be used again.” Trevis stated in an email.
