EC offers UCLA Extension courses

UCLA Extension courses, classes made for professionals looking to advance in their careers, begin Jan. 5 on the EC campus, according to a press release.

Courses offered include Spacecraft Attitude Control, covering dynamics and linear control theory; Fundamentals of Project Management, covering “practical techniques to organize and control non-routine activities” and Introduction to Human Nutrition, covering the basics of nutrition and exercise, according to the press release.

“The courses and UCLA Extension certificates are in some of the fastest growing and better-paying professions and industries,” according to the press release. “UCLA Extension is the continuing education division of the University of California at Los Angeles.”

It should be noted the courses, all scheduled during the evening, do not align with the spring semester. They start two weeks earlier, during the holiday break between the fall and spring semesters, and end in late March.
