At the Associated Students Organization’s (ASO) last meeting of the semester Thursday, topics including Finals Madness, Welcome Week for next semester, and the new Shops Building were discussed.

The Bookstore is donating blue books and scantrons for Finals Madness next week, Anjeannete Aguilar, ASO director of human resources, said. The Student Activities Center will be open from 9 p.m. to midnight Monday through Thursday to serve as a place for students to study and get help from tutors during finals week.

At the meeting, ASO approved money to buy donuts, water and coffee to sell during Welcome Week next semester.

ASO Vice President Sharda Jones said she attended the Citizen Oversight Board meeting and the new Shops Building will have an open house soon and the demolition of the old Shops Building would take place soon after that.

Thursday was the last ASO meeting of this year.
