Music swells and the performers bound across the stage; the stage lights up with music, distinguished movement and precise choreography as the performers show their work that they have spent so much time perfecting and polishing.
The fall dance concert ” Jubilation” opened this Thursday and even those who aren’t dance or theater enthusiast, will enjoy the show as it is entertaining.
The dancers in all acts performed beautifully and it is easy to tell that they have put their all into this performance.
The variation of the dances performed consist of a wide range of styles and backgrounds from many different areas of dance.
Ballet, broadway and interpretive were only a few of the different dancing styles demonstrated in the show.
The dancers didn’t just move across the stage, they jumped, floated, slid, crawled their way across the dance floor.
The dance instructors clearly had the bar set high for these dance students and their performance shows how hard that they have all worked in order to get where they needed to be for this show.
Some of the dances performed was a dance called “The Dinner Party” which was an interpretive dance that was odd but very amusing in terms of how the atmosphere was portrayed and how the dancers interacted with each other, portraying a story with their movements.
A lot of the interpretive dances were very well directed and you could easily tell what was happening and what the performers were trying to portray with their choreography.
If you are a fan of dance or simply looking for a little culture, you should check out “Jubilation” or any of the other dance concerts at EC because they are guaranteed to surprise you.
