Artist in residence to perform on Marsee stage
Applied music program instructor James E. Mack will be performing classical pieces from Mozart and jazz woodwind ensembles on clarinet and saxophone. He will be accompanied by fellow instructors playing instruments from bassoon to oboe beginning tomorrow at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15. Applied students share the stage with Orchestra
A diverse night of solos from pianist Esther Hong, vocal performance by baritone Anthony Moreno and two world premieres of orchestral arrangements will be featured at the Marsee Auditorium 3 p.m. Sunday. Travel through Europe without leaving campus
Discover Stonehenge and other stone marvels in the film “Etched in Stone: Scotland to Provence” at Marsee Auditorium Monday. As they travel to Scotland, London and along the Mediterranean Sea, Monty and Marsha Brown unveil the mysteries of several historic stone ruins. Art exhibit features advanced photographer
An art exhibition at the Second City Council Art Gallery and Performance Space in Long Beach includes a photograph by student photographer Laura Bellamy. Running now through March 24 at 435 Alamitos Ave, the exhibition is juried by internationally known photographer Robert Flick. The annual show, “Bravo!
