Redondo Beach
Beatle Mania returned to the South Bay last night and will remain through Oct. 2, as the Civic Light Opera of the South Bay celebrates the 40th anniversary of the Beatles in a multimedia spectacular.

Manhattan Beach Arts Festival to open
The 10th annual Manhattan Beach Arts Festival will take place on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Manhattan Beach Boulevard between Highland Avenue and Valley Drive.
Featured entertainment will include art making workshops, music, dancing and food.Admission to the festival is free.

Documentary to be shown in Marsee
The Center for the Arts will present Royal England, a documentary by Charles Hartman Monday at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. in Marsee Auditorium as a part of the World Travel Adventure Cinema Series.

“Bali: Island Of the Gods” to be shown
“Bali: Island of the Gods” will be shown Sept. 26 as part of the World Travel Cinema Series at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. in Marsee Auditorium.

Arts Alive Festival in Torrance approaches
Saturday October 1 the Torrance Cultural Arts Center will host the Arts Alive Festival 2005.
The festival will include hands-on activities, arts and crafts, fine arts and a juried art show. There will also be food booths and continuous live entertainment in the James Armstrong Theatre and on the Entryway Plaza. Admission is free.
