Welcome to Long Beach, Calif. (LBC), notorious for being Snoop Dogg’s hometown, cruising down 2nd Street in Belmont Shores, going to The Pike to ride the ferris wheel, and eating at Long Beach Cafe on Ocean Boulevard at noon to cure the hangover from drinking half yards at Yard House.

Being in the heart of the South Bay with killer waves and partying on the pier, there’s nothing close to what Naples Canals has to offer for their beach-goers.

Naples Canals is a small beach made up of three islands in Alamitos Bay, which the locals call Bayshore Beach.

Likewise, cruising through Naples Canals is a sight to see considering there are ravishing homes throughout the canals, crossing through miniature bridges connecting the islands, and inhaling the local beach lifestyle in the LBC.

Bayshore’s calm crisp water with little boat traffic has a small dock with a hut that offers beach-goers renting kayaks and paddleboards at an inexpensive cost.

Kayaking starts at nine dollars an hour per person and if there’s a group of twenty or more people, the cost is six dollars an hour per person. Paddle boarding is $25 an hour, including instructor if needed and $16 an hour for speed pass members.

Naples Canals is considered to be “the best kept secret between Los Angeles and Orange County,” so don’t keep a secret and paddle through Naples.
