Actress brings Broadway alive
An intimate evening with one of Broadway’s best, Susan Egan, comes to Marsee Auditorium tomorrow.
Her most recent role was on Broadway in “Thoroughly Modern Millie” and her most notable role was Belle in “Beauty and the Beast,” which earned her a Tony and Drama Desk nomination for best actress.
The public may join her starting at 8 p.m. for the ECC Alumni Night. Tickets are $26/$24.
Chamber music from Colorado
Five acclaimed musicians from the Aspen Music Festival unite with their love for chamber music in The Aspen Ensemble Sunday in Marsee Auditorium.
Their desire to bring unique, exciting programs to audiences around the world will include works by Dvorak, Martinu, Beethoven and Mozart.
The performance starts at 7 p.m. and tickets are $24 and $20.
Shakespeare and the theater
Shakespeare’s shortest, fastest, and funniest farce, “The Comedy of Errors,” runs tomorrow and Saturday at 8 p.m. and 3 p.m, respectively, in the Campus Theatre.
Directed by Thomas F. Bradac, the play is set on crazy antics and mistaken identity when two sets of twins, separated at birth by a shipwreck, happen upon the same seacoast town at the same time.
Tickets are $10 unless otherwise noted.
Showcase to present bands
April Fool’s Day is for more than playing pranks. The Cinema Arts Club will be hosting its second annual concert event tomorrow, “Foolish Showcase,” in the Activities Center at 6 to 9 p.m.
Tickets for the showcase are $2 presale and $4 at the door, $3 with an ASB sticker.
