“What really got me started was when I was in the band in middle school,” Srimal de Mel, 19, music major, said. “I went to the Steamers Cafe in Fullerton and I knew from that moment that (was) what I wanted to do. I just jam and I just want to shred. When I’m on stage I am in a pretty relaxed state of having fun. One of my main goals is to get into Cal State Fullerton and study with Bill Cunliffe.”
