Homecoming Events:
- Homecoming Carnival : Oct. 27- Oct. 28 on the Library Lawn 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Voting for King and Queen: Oct. 27- Oct. 28 on the Library Lawn from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Homecoming Dance: Friday, Oct. 30 in the East Dining Room from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m.
Trick or Treat on campus
The student executive and senate offices will be allowing students to trick or treat next week.
Personal Statement Workshop
The Transfer Center will be holding personal statement workshop on Oct. 29 from 1p.m.- 3p.m. in the Alondra Room above the Bookstore. For more information call the Transfer Center 310-660-3593 x3408
Vegan Day Festival
The ASO will be hosting a Vegan Day Festival on Nov. 2 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on the Library Lawn. The festival will be in connection with National Vegan Day which is on Nov. 1.
STEM Speaker Series
As part of the STEM series Glen Chappe will be giving a presentation titled “The Magic of Science” on Wednesday, Nov. 4 from 4 p.m.-5 p.m. in the Alondra Room.
Associated Student Organization
The ASO approved over $1700 at the last meeting on Oct.15. The ASO approved $1500 for two members of the organization to attend the Fall General Assembly in Sacramento. In addition, ASO approved to send six members of the organization to Washington D.C. next year during spring break. ASO also approved $250 for Halloween decorations, donuts and candies.
