The track and field team returned to Mt. San Antonio College for the junior college invitational that included junior colleges from Santa Barbara, Long Beach, Fullerton and Sacramento.
Freshmen Passionae Martin placed fifth in the women’s 400-meter hurdles and sophomore Hailey Heinemann captured third in the women’s 400-Meter steeplechase.
The women’s 4×400 team still dominates the conference as they placed first.
Freshman Sara Curran placed fifth in women’s pole vault and freshman Zaynab Bent-Mikail placed third in women’s triple jump. Sophomore Cambria Serrano placed third in women’s javelin.
Sophomores Daniel York-Mouton, Chris Graham, and Teddy Kassa all placed second in the men’s 400-meter dash, 110-meter hurdles, and 3000-meter steeplechase respectively.
The men’s 4×400-meter team continues to perform at optimal level as it finished runner-up.
The Warriors will visit Cal State L.A. on Thursday as a dress rehearsal for next Tuesday’s South Coast Conference Preliminaries.
