Charming good looks, charismatic, energetic, funny and engaging describes communications professor Jason Davidson.
El Camino College Center for the Arts presents tomorrow at 8 p.m. Jason Davidson in its resident artist series, with his presentation titled: “Communication as Breathing,” being held at Marsee Auditorium.
“If communication were the same as breathing, many of us would clearly be suffocating to death! It will be an evening to explore our biological, psychological, and emotional needs to communicate with others, as well as effective strategies for strengthening both our relationships and our sense of self-worth,” Davidson said.
Davidson added that people have more ways to connect than ever before, but we are not necessarily communicating with each other.
Communication is sharing and to share what is in us to others is not being done. We are not sharing what we feel or are thinking and we are not listening to what others have to say Davidson said.
For some communication students it is mandatory to attend, but if you want to try something new to do on a Friday night than the typical movie night, this presentation is for you. Be prepared for an entertaining night with a few surprises. “Communication as Breathing,” will surely be emotionally stimulating, fun, crazy, hilarious and exhilarating.
“I am going to have fun and I hope people there have fun too,” said Davidson.
