1. ‘Our Town’ debuts at Campus Theatre
The 1938 Pulitzer Prize-winning drama, “Our Town,” direceted by Caryn Desai, opens Friday at the Campus Theatre.
The American play with themes of love and loss will run until May 23. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased from the box office. Showtimes are at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 3 p.m. on Sundays.
2.EC Choirs to present ‘Back to Carnegie’
The El Camino Chorale, Concert Choir and Women’s Chorus will preview their upcoming Carnegie Hall performance with soloists and a full orchestra.
The event begins at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Haag Recital Hall. The program will feature music from various time periods and genres. Tickets are $10 and available at the box office.
3.Resident artist to
perform at the Haag
Guitar instructor Chris Mello will perform jazz and world music selections with L.A.’s seasoned session players this Sunday.
The concert will feature music from Cuba, Brazil, Africa and a mix of Mello’s original and favorite compositions at the Haag Recital Hall. Tickets are $15. Interested persons may visit www.centerforthearts.org.
