Broadway’s 2003 revival of Rodger and Hammerstein’s “Oklahoma” opens at The Civic Light Opera of South Bay Cities in Redondo Beach this Wed. Sept. 16 and will run through Oct. 4. There are no shows Mondays and student tickets are available for $25 15 minutes before the show.

Showcasing visual art, the mixed media art exhibition “Local Visions: South Bay Artists Exhibition”, featuring paintings and photography from local artists will be at The Creative Arts Center at 1560 Manhattan Beach Boulevard in Manhattan Beach Sept. 12-Oct. 1. Cost is free. The gallery is closed Sun.-Mon., and Fri. Gallery hours are 2-6 p.m. Tues. and Thur., 4-8 p.m. Wed., and 1-4 p.m Sat.
