With new sushi restaurants opening up around every corner it’s hard to figure out where the best deals are. Whether you’re looking for a place to take your date or relax with friends after a long week of school, these five sushi spots in the South Bay provide quality fish and atmosphere without taking a heavy toll on your wallet.

1. Gu Gu Sushi- 1121 Aviation Blvd, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254- 4.1 Miles

At an affordable price, every roll comes packed with large amounts of quality fish that will leave you wanting more, even on a full stomach. The large selection of rolls is almost overwhelming so it is best to come with an idea of what you want to eat. Their specialty rolls offer many choices that cannot be found anywhere else, including their Redondo roll. The happy hour offers half off on sushi and saki from 5p.m. to 7 p.m.. The portions served are more than enough to fill you up, or to share with your significant other.

Although it doesn’t appear to be much on the outside, once you enter you the setting is much more eloquent than the exterior would let on. The sushi offers a wide range of rolls, although it does n a variety of specialty rolls. But where Sushi delight lacks in specialty rolls, it makes up for in the quality and quantity of the other rolls it has to offer. With any order on the menu, you are provided with a free plate of edamame that goes great with any sushi roll.
