Chicken Mason is a well known Mediterranean restaurant serving mainly rotisserie chicken and kabobs. Price ranges from $6 to $12 for quarter to full chicken meals.
2. Poulet Du Jour
233 Pacific Coast Hwy, Hermosa Beach – 4.9 miles from campus
Poulet Du Jour offers combination plates serving quarter, half and full chicken with choice of two sides with pita bread and garlic sauce. Prices range from $7 to $15. Online ordering is also available for people who want to skip the line and order ahead.
3. Chicken Dijon
2515 Artesia Blvd, Redondo Beach – 2.5 miles from campus
Chicken Dijon has three South Bay locations in Torrance and El Segundo. The chain restaurant takes on a slightly different approach to Mediterranean food and chicken. A chicken meal with a quarter chicken can cost upwards of $9.
4. El Pollo Inka
15400 Hawthorne Blvd, Lawndale – 2 miles from campus
El Pollo Inka is a Peruvian restaurant with two other locations in the South Bay. El Pollo Inka has their iconic rotisserie chicken cooking in a enclosed brick barbecue with a glass window for viewing which gives you the opportunity to watch the chicken cook. El Pollo Inka is a sit in restaurant with take out available. Daily lunch specials are available Monday through Friday. Prices range from $6 to $14. El Pollo Inka takes on a different taste to rotisserie chicken compared to Mediterranean.
5. Chicken Shack
1030 Aviation Blvd, Hermosa Beach – 4.3 miles from campus
The name speaks for itself, as the place looks almost like a chicken shack. The restaurant which opened in 2007 serves Peruvian style food and rotisserie chicken. Quarter chicken to full chicken meals range from $8 to $20.
