Kevin Ruano, 19, physiology major: “About two years ago I was in a car accident and I tore a couple of ligaments. I needed physical therapy. I couldn’t walk for a while. The whole experience of being in a hospital. Like, having to go through this whole process of rehabilitation. That inspired me a lot especially through my major. Being able to stand up again would be a proud moment in my life.”
