Who has influenced you most in your life?
Favio Zelaya, 22, psychology major: “A mentor that I had here. I was in the Puente Program, I went to him, and I told him that I just wanted to give up. He told me, ‘No, man, just don’t.’ He told me his story about how we were both similar in a way. He failed most of his classes in high school and went to a community college as well. He finished his BA and masters degree in just three years. If he can do it, I can do it.”
