All good things must come to an end.
This summer about 1,600 students will be graduating from EC. From those 1,600, roughly 650 will be participating in the graduation ceremony. Kudos to all those who have managed to get through college while juggling work, home and friends.
Graduating from a community college is a lot tougher than most seem to think because so many things can often get in the way. Considering most statistics are against those planning to transfer or graduate, this is quite an accomplishment.
So, congratulations to those who have made that trek.
One can only hope for the best in your future plans, whatever they may be. Some of you may be planning to transfer to a university while others are ready to get a start on their careers.
It would have been great if all the students graduating from EC would have participated in the graduation ceremony.
This is a big deal and one’s family and friends should be there to celebrate you in front of your peers. Use the graduation ceremony as another reason to throw a party, get gifts or just celebrate yourself.
