Allowing student-expression on campus is integral in creating an atmosphere of creativity and thought-provocation.

By censoring student creativity, or by making it difficult for students who would like to perform by busying them up with paper-work, only stifles what is intended to be an artistic outlet for students.

Regardless of what musical genre, students as a campus should welcome and embrace their fellow-student’s work and be proud of those who grace the stage in fron of the Student Activities Center.

It is not known why this campus has gone so long without more live student-entertainment, but it is evident that a little more wouldn’t hurt.

Let them curse, let them rant about politics, let them say what they want; it it healthy to express oneself, especially at campus as diverse as this one is.

Students can become absorbed and trapped in the abyss of papers, textbooks and hour-long lectures this campus can bring its students; perhaps live-entertainment could bring an end to any campus doldrums students may have.
