The accused murderer of an El Camino student admitted to shooting the victim in court on Friday, Aug. 26, according to the Daily Breeze.
Jordan Joseph, 18, testified that he “feared for his life,” according to the Daily Breeze, when he shot and killed Kody Ryan Cook on June 26, 2015.
He said that Cook was reaching for a silver gun, before shooting at him six times, hitting Cook with four shots in the head and neck, according to the Daily Breeze article.
Cook was found dead in his BMW at the Baskin Robbins parking lot two miles away from campus.
