Club Rush, an upcoming leadership conference, and a resignation were the highlights of discussion at the Associated Students Organization meeting Thursday.

Saima Fariz, ASO director of finance, is resigning because of schedule conflicts, ASO President Rafeed Kahn said.

Kahn and three other ASO members will attend a leadership conference near LAX next month.

Michelle Arthur, acting director of Student Development, attended the meeting as the new ASO co-adviser along with co-adviser Breanna von Stein.

The next ASO meeting will be Sept. 18 at 1 p.m. in Room 131 in the Administration Building.
