A student lost control of his Toyota Tundra at 11 a.m. on the road south of Lot H, causing his truck to plunge down the embankment onto Redondo Beach Boulevard, ECPD said.

There were no passengers in the vehicle, no one was reported hurt, and the truck did not hit any oncoming traffic on the street below.

“He must have lost control of his vehicle,” Officer Dean Starkey said, “but he got out and walked away, not a scratch. It’s lucky he didn’t hit anything on Redondo Beach [Boulevard].”

CHP was called to handle the investigation.
