Exploring Turkey’s ancient treasures
World Travel Adventure Cinema Series presents “Biblical Treasures of Turkey Part 2.” In this second journey through Turkey, one may enjoy beautiful scenery and see historical monuments.
Participants will step inside a Roman villa and experience how the Romans once lived while they take pleasure in the luxurious surroundings, soothing waterfalls and bubbling springs. They can also listen as Apostle Paul tells stories about the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ.
This film will be shown on Monday, Oct. 25 at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in Marsee Auditorium.
Tickets are $6 for general admission and $5 for senior citizens, children and students with valid ID.
Acclaimed pianist comes to town
Internationally acclaimed vocalist and pianist Carol Welsman has been capturing audiences around the world with her stage presence and jazz vocals. She will be performing at the Campus Theatre on Saturday, Oct. 23 at 8 p.m. Admission is $18.
One-woman show arrives to delight
The long- awaited sequel, “Late Nite Catechism 2” has finally arrived. Written and performed by Maripat Donovan, this one-woman show is full of comedy. Donovan, dressed as a nun, treats the audience as if they are all in a catechism class.
Performances will take place through Oct. 17 at the Hermosa Beach Playhouse on Pier Avenue and Pacific Coast Highway.

Piano galore
EC’s Artists-In-Residence presents June Lusk Nelson on piano at the Campus Theatre Sunday Oct. 24 at 3 p.m. Admission is $12.
