Family Concert on show

With the South Bay Youth Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra performing music from distant lands and faraway places, a Family Concert will be playing in Marsee Auditorium Saturday at 7 p.m.

Pieces performed include the works of Bizet, Beethoven, Lecuona, Villa-Lobos and Reichel.

Tickets are $10.

Nachef to lead chorus

Directed by Joanna Nachef, a Women’s Chorus will perform in Campus Theatre.

The performance is Sunday at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $6.

Appreciate Brahm’s work

Featuring Brahm’s “Ein Deutsches Requiem,” Community Choir will perform with Cal State Dominguez Hills Symphony at Cal State Dominguez Hills Saturday at 8 p.m.

Admission is free.

Meet Shakespeare’s fairies

Shakespeare’s comedy about fairies and love spells, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” will be performed at the Westchester Playhouse.

There will be performances tomorrow and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.

The Westchester Playhouse is located at 8301 Hindry Ave. in Westchester.

Tickets are $15 for senior citizens and a $2 discount will be given to students.
