Exploring East Indies’ oceans
Find out the kinds animal life that exist under the sea in the film “East Indies Gift of the Sea,” presented by Grant Foster as part of the World Travel Adventure Cinema Series.
The film will be shown in Marsee Auditorium Monday, Oct. 4 at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $6 for general admission and $5 for students, children and senior citizens with ID.
Hearing sounds of string music
Enjoy a night of sensual, relaxing string music as the Rosetti String Quartet will perform in Marsee auditorium Friday, Oct. 4 at 8 p.m.
Tickets are $24.
New York ballet comes to town
Often called a “choreographer’s company,” the New York City Ballet will perform ballets such as “Jewels”, “Serenade,” “Stars and Stripes,” and “Violin Concerto” at the Orange County Performing Arts Center.
The center is located at 600 Town Center Drive in Costa Mesa.
The performance is taking place from Sept. 29- Oct. 3, Wednesday through Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., and Sunday at 12:30 and 5:30 p.m.

Opera at EC
Soprano Julia Migenes draws on her life experiences on an operatic stage as she performs her one-woman monologue “Diva on the Verge” at Marsee Auditorium Friday, Oct. 1 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $28 and $24.
