Joseph Tejada

Joseph Tejada, 32, business major: “There should be a little more student interaction. Just coming from New York, people are more socialized with one another. People speak to one another more often, but in California everyone just kind of seems to be doing their own thing and everybody’s like get out of my way, I’m just kind of doing my own thing. There’s nothing wrong with that. It’s different from the East Coast where people are more together. You could make normal conversation with a complete stranger and you guys could just hit it off and become really good friends. It seems like you won’t be able to do that here. It’s like the only way you’re actually going to speak to somebody is either if you actually have to interact with them forcingly rather than people going out of their way.”
