Megan Granich, math instructor: “I’ve been teaching college in some capacity since 2001. Basically my philosophy is anyone can learn math, just not everyone is going to learn it at the same pace. I might explain something and half the class is going to get it right then and the other half is going to take a couple of days, but they’ll get there. The whole thing is a two-way street. I can give you the notes; I can go over the homework. I can give you group work. I can put all the answers online. I can do all this stuff, but at the end of the day, you’ve got to do stuff too.”
